The Body of Change
May 19, 2025
Have you ever had a moment where your body spoke before your mind could catch up?
Maybe your stomach sank before a “yes” you didn’t mean.
Or your chest tightened when you walked into a room that didn’t feel safe.
Maybe your body said, “Not this. Not now. Not again.”
Most of us were never taught to listen to those whispers.
Instead, we were praised for powering through. For smiling through the discomfort. For being “fine.”
But what if that ache in your shoulder, that lump in your throat, that deep tiredness that sleep won’t fix — what if all of that was your body trying to help you come home to yourself?
That’s the invitation inside The Body of Change.
It’s not just a book. It’s a remembering.
A remembering that your body has always been with you.
Even in the trauma.
Even in the numbness.
Even when you dissociated just to survive.
In its pages, I share the ROAR® Technique — a powerful, somatic method I’ve used with clients around the world to gently release stuck energy, reclaim presence, and trust the sacred intelligence of the body.
But this isn’t just about the method.
It’s about the moment when something in you says:
“I’m ready to feel again. To live again. To come back.”
If you’re reading this and something is stirring inside — a quiet yes, a curious pull — maybe that’s your body whispering again.
This month, my intention is to support those who are ready to shift, release, and remember who they are. If your body is ready to be seen, to speak, to heal — I’d love to honor you and your soul.
Because when we stop fighting our bodies and start listening to them…
That’s when the real magic begins.
With love,
Dr. Lisa
