One Degree Shift - Things to Avoid in Discomfort
Oct 05, 2022
One Degree Shift® is a series focusing on how simple change can be if we focus on only a one degree shift. Not guns a blazing, one degree. One degree to shifting into healing your body so you can create your most radically alive life.
- Avoid “numbing” out to get rid of the feelings – drinking, eating, zoning out on social media. These activities don’t help you move forward, and you may even feel worse after them.
- Important to know that different people have different tolerance levels for discomfort. It can even be helpful to try to become more comfortable with discomfort in general by trying to be a person who is more willing to try new things.
- You can come face to face with the feeling of discomfort and learn to better recognize.
- All situations in life are temporary – remind yourself you won’t be in the discomfort forever.
