One Degree Shift - Things to Avoid in Discomfort

Moving Through Discomfort

One Degree Shift® is a series focusing on how simple change can be if we focus on only a one degree shift.  Not guns a blazing, one degree.  One degree to shifting into healing your body so you can create your most radically alive life.

If you run from these discomforts they won’t go away and in fact they might grow and feel even bigger.
  • Avoid “numbing” out to get rid of the feelings – drinking, eating, zoning out on social media. These activities don’t help you move forward, and you may even feel worse after them.
  • Important to know that different people have different tolerance levels for discomfort. It can even be helpful to try to become more comfortable with discomfort in general by trying to be a person who is more willing to try new things.
  • You can come face to face with the feeling of discomfort and learn to better recognize.
  • All situations in life are temporary – remind yourself you won’t be in the discomfort forever.

If you require something deeper, reach out for a session. I am here for you. If you have questions or topic suggestions you can end them to [email protected] and I’ll be happy to read them and use them for an upcoming episode! -> Check RiseUp and ROAR®:

One Degree Shift - How To Get Out of Paralysis

For many years now, in classes all around the world, people have heard me say, Hi Body, Hi Body, Hi Body, from English to Spanish, to Portuguese, to Turkish and on and on. It's one of my favorite things when I visit another country. I like to learn that phrase in their language even before "where is the bathroom" 😂

On a more serious note, connecting with your body is very rewarding and often avoided. I am a thinker and getting into a routine with my body, my self and my creations took work for awhile and NOW, it's a morning routine that I just can't miss.

I created a 21-Day challenge where I share exactly what I do to Cultivate Energetic Presence with myself and I'm excited to share this with the world. It's available on my newest website, One Degree Shift Academy™.

You've Got This!!! 💛 just a #onedegreeshift is all it takes.
